Catching Up on the Latest in Services Procurement
Next week, I'll be featuring a few posts highlighting the latest from the services procurement sector. There's been a lot of news of late to come out of the contingent corner of the services procurement world in particular. From new releases and enhanced capabilities recently announced by best-of-breed providers IQNavigator and Fieldglass to new price benchmarking tools and other capabilities in the market -- not to mention what appears to be an even greater trend toward procurement, IT and HR organizations working together in the contingent area at the moment to drive savings -- it would seem that early 2010 could be a banner adoption time for services procurement. Stay tuned as we once again investigate this important corner of the Spend Management sector in more detail and how companies are driving additional cost out of their contingent labor and broader services spend categories.
